Option: Seminar Talk

This lecture style talk covering topics that informs, as well as influences the audience attitude towards stress, their health and wellbeing. There is active development and engagement with questions. This is a great way to dynamically deliver information that the local team are particularly interested in, information that only usually is covered in more intimate programmes like the small group talks. We will also include a group mindful stress management meditation. Each member will also receive a complimentary audio of a 10 minute and 20 minute mindful meditation. The Centre for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts Medical School, where James trained, recommends 10 minutes of this Mindful Meditation each day, which has been shown to dramatically reduce stress, anxiety and depression, while strengthening personal resilience and fortitude.

Option: Group Session

This seminar/workshop covering comprehensive information on “striving and not just surviving stress”, the signs of stress, common behaviours of stress and burn out. Dealing with stress on a physical, mental and emotional level. Active participation is encouraged in this workshop which informs participants on how to spot signs of stress and how to deal with them on a daily basis, before they injure health and wellbeing. We will also include a group mindful stress management meditation.
