Bell’s Palsy

Research shows that Acupuncture had improved facial muscle recovery after Bell’s Palsy (Facial Paralysis) according to a randomized controlled trial published in CMAJ (Canadian Medical Association Journal). Patients suffering this facial paralysis, who received were treated by acupuncture, using a technique called “De Qi”, a type of intense stimulation, had improved facial muscle recovery, reduced disability and better quality of life.
